Looking for those answers to prayer

As many of you know we relaunched Ellipsis this year and wanted to see how God would use this with us based stateside.

To be honest. I felt Him wanting to launch from the USA for a while. But because I love the field so much and the Philippines so much, I had a hard time seeing it… maybe because I wasn’t sure I wanted to.

Yet at the same time, I have always wanted to send what God gave us (in Freedom Camp) beyond our personal reach. I felt as that desire grew, the Lord kept nudging that one of the best places to do that from is our home nation.

Already, I have seen the Lord at work in that exact way!

One example is how we got started in Honduras. (You can find the full story here.)

Another example is the opportunity that continues in Honduras. We have two more trips this fall to continue training local pastors as well as doing Freedom Camp. These trips are to help the pastors actually see camp in action to be able to replicate in their communities.

And a third way is through the local work here in Mississippi that God is opening doors for. We have a Thanksgiving Dinner we are partnering with the Oxford Pregnancy Center and North Oxford Baptist Church to facilitate. Ellipsis will be offering a program to take clients of the Pregnancy Center and their children through to learn how to heal and lean into Jesus through hardships they may face or may have faced. There are many more events in the works as well.

God. Is. Moving.

The opportunities are coming at us faster than we can keep up!

But then I remember… God wanted us to re-launch based in the USA - because He knew it would take a village to answer the call and meet the opportunity He’s bringing our way.

This is not an Ellipsis effort. It’s a Kingdom effort… which means anyone who’s a believer is who God is calling to join in and help reach the children God wants to reach here and around the world.

So if you’ve ever wanted to do something for Jesus, you can! I can’t adequately express how important the body of Christ is as a collective effort to reach people with the Gospel.

On that note, if you’ve seen the Sound of Freedom movie and wanted to do something about it but didn’t know what. This could be an option for you. We do work with homes, shelters, and organizations that rescue and house children affected by trafficking.

There’s momentum now. There are open doors. And we’re ready to send the Gospel out to children bound by trauma to bring them the freedom Jesus died for. They are worth it!

How are you called to be involved?

Yes, we need prayer warriors always! But we also need those who will step up and be the answer to many of those prayers and help fund the efforts to take the Gospel to these children. Are you one of those called to be an answer to prayer? No amount is too small. It all matters!

Together, we can reach children with the hope that is the only thing truly worth living for! Let’s do this!
